ESCAPE YOUR DIABETES
For many years we have worked with the American Diabetes Association (ADA), visiting inner-city schools, hospitals, and community centers to teach both children and parents about how to prevent, combat and overcome diabetes through proper fitness and nutrition.
We use our knowledge to help Exude clients with diabetes reach their health, fitness and aesthetic goals.
Exude's Escape Your Diabetes Program has proven for many individuals to be more effective in lowering blood sugars for Type II Diabetics than any medication on the market - with no side effects and equally important; improving all aspects of your health by lowering all associated risks that derive from diabetes...
HOW MUCH EXERCISE DO YOU NEED?
The American Diabetes Association recommends that you “get moving" somehow for a minimum of 150 minutes per week — or 30 minutes a day, five days a week. This is the minimum amount that has shown significant improvement in blood sugar, cholesterol and weight loss and/or control.
But what type of exercise is needed to help those with diabetes? The most recent medical data recommends that you do a combination of both aerobic and anaerobic exercise combined with stretching to increase range of motion and flexibility, and strength training exercises to keep your muscles toned or to build more muscle if needed.
Please read this medical study in The Journal of The American Medical Association, which delineates the types of exercise best suited to combat diabetes:
