Maximizing Your Workout Routine: Part 2

Welcome back to today’s Maximizing Your Workout Routine! Today, I’ll be divulging some more of the tricks and tips that I’ve gained over my years of experience. 

WATER, WATER, WATER! Drink lots of it, during and after your workout. Nothing more to be said.

CARBS & PROTEIN! Generally, you should only eat when you’re hungry, but when you do eat, make sure to eat a lot of protein and carbs, as they are what fuel and rebuilds your body. 

ENGAGE YOUR CORE! Definitely one of the largest and most important muscle groups in your body! As such, work it out a lot! Many exercises use your abs so the stronger they are, the more efficient your workouts will be!

REST! Always remember to take a rest day, especially for beginners. It’s when your body heals that you actually build muscle. As such, taking the appropriate time to rest after a workout is critical for actually improving your body. So rest!
